Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely shipments
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (purchasing, transportation, quality control) for seamless workflow
- Manage warehouse technology systems (WMS, AS/400) and process documentation
- Optimize storage layouts and material handling equipment utilization
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs and implement corrective actions
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
