Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity and safety targets
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and conduct regular safety audits
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with trucking partners and cross-functional teams
- Analyze operational KPIs (order accuracy, cycle times) and implement improvement plans
- Manage warehouse layout optimization and equipment maintenance schedules
- Handle escalated customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency with WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with lean methodology training preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred for team communication
- College degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience
