Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and inventory procedures
- Optimize workflow efficiency and implement process improvements
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate transportation schedules
- Manage equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Generate performance reports and operational metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management or supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training required
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 50+ lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
