The Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will be the face of our operations, ensuring that our distribution processes run smoothly, safely, and cost-effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, managing inventory accuracy, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal workflow and maximum efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing training.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Maintain and inspect warehouse equipment, ensuring all machinery is in safe, working order.
- Prepare accurate reports regarding daily productivity, labor costs, and inventory variance.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Forklift certification and prior experience with material handling equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Proficient in inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
