Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, ensuring optimal productivity and performance
- Oversee all inbound/outbound logistics, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free operations
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and data-driven decision making
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including logistics, purchasing, and customer service
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop training programs for staff development
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational KPIs
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and warehouse best practices
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active) and inventory control
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues
- Experience implementing process improvements and lean methodologies
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
