Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, scheduling and optimizing daily workflows
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and distribution teams
- Drive process improvements using lean methodologies and WMS technology
- Conduct performance reviews and mentor team members for skill development
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to management
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with high-volume distribution centers
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Proven leadership in union/non-union environments
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
