Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and fulfillment activities
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse associates through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with transportation and procurement teams
- Utilize WMS systems to monitor KPIs and report operational metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Certified in OSHA safety standards and lean manufacturing principles
- Advanced proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
