Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance coaching
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for seamless supply chain integration
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Prepare performance reports and budget forecasts for management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid Kansas driver's license required
