Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement stock control procedures to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and drills.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to streamline workflows and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules to ensure forklifts and material handling machinery are in optimal condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a warehouse or logistics environment (3+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and processes.
- Valid Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and handle conflict resolution.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business is a plus.
