Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Manage and mentor 15+ team members, scheduling shifts and conducting performance reviews
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and freight movement
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Conduct monthly cycle counts and ensure 99.5% inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
