Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse staff with performance metrics and training
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and safety procedures
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless transportation scheduling
- Analyze operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and coordinate repairs
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in leadership
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- Experience with DC metro area distribution networks
