Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Train, coach, and motivate cross-functional teams
- Optimize workflows using WMS systems (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Analyze KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with transportation and procurement departments
- Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution centers
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory control systems
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
