Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain zero-accident workplace standards
- Optimize inventory control processes using WMS systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Conduct daily performance reviews and provide targeted coaching for team development
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation, procurement, and quality control teams
- Analyze operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper utilization of forklifts and pallet jacks
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and proven safety program implementation
- Expert proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle WMS, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team development success
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
