Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead a team of 15-20 warehouse associates with scheduling, training, and performance management
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
