Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead, train, and mentor 15+ warehouse associates to maximize productivity and safety
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain accident-free workplace standards
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (SAP experience preferred)
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and warehouse facility upkeep
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with inventory accuracy >99.5%
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in union/non-union environments
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
