Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates, ensuring safety compliance and productivity
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics for efficiency gains
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and partner with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory control
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Forklift certification and valid DC driver's license
