Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage team of 15-20 staff members, ensuring productivity targets and safety protocols
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Train and develop staff on equipment operation and procedures
- Resolve operational issues and maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or safety management training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
