Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure peak performance
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulations
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Analyze operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Proven expertise in WMS systems (Oracle or SAP preferred)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in high-volume environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
