Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution activities
- Train and lead team members on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize losses
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize workflow and meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
