Responsibilities
- Manage 10+ team members, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Optimize inventory control and warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and maintain accurate documentation
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and errors
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Resolve operational challenges promptly while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership abilities with conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/nights as needed
- Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
