Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage team of 15-20 associates with scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement lean principles to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and company policies
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate WMS documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation and purchasing departments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in a high-volume distribution center
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- Experience with TMS and inventory management software
