Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution activities
- Implement and optimize inventory management systems with 99.5% accuracy targets
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team of warehouse associates
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage facility maintenance and equipment operations (forklifts, WMS systems)
- Analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and transportation departments
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience
- OSHA Forklift Certification and Hazmat handling credentials
- Proven expertise in WMS implementation (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- Experience managing teams of 15+ employees in union/non-union environments
- Proficiency in warehouse automation technologies
