Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Train and develop warehouse staff through performance coaching
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- College degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
