Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control procedures and implement lean methodologies
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, accident-free workplace
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling and load planning
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Develop and maintain SOPs for receiving, storing, and shipping operations
- Analyze KPIs to improve productivity and reduce operational costs
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Proven track record of leading teams and meeting performance targets
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety protocols
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and inventory software
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
