Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage 10-15 team members, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and accuracy through cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Train staff on new equipment and warehouse management systems
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Proven ability to meet productivity and accuracy targets
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
