Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-value inventory
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse staff through scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Implement lean inventory management systems to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with procurement and transportation teams for seamless supply chain integration
- Utilize WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory records and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and extensive safety program implementation experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Advanced proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and process improvement
