Responsibilities
- Lead 15+ person team across 3 shifts, ensuring safety protocols and productivity targets
- Optimize warehouse operations through WMS implementation and lean methodology
- Manage inventory accuracy (99.9%+) and cycle count processes
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing departments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives reducing waste by 15% annually
- Conduct performance reviews and develop talent pipeline
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain incident-free environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- Proven expertise in WMS (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar)
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operator credentials
- Data analysis proficiency with inventory/performance metrics
- Strong leadership background with union/non-union teams
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
- Experience with cross-docking and freight consolidation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
