Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods
- Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize inventory control and order fulfillment
- Utilize provided equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) for material handling and inventory management
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety programs compliant with OSHA regulations
- Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management principles
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
