Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and safety.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock accuracy, and coordinate with purchasing to prevent shortages.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks.
- Prepare performance reports and handle conflict resolution within the team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Forklift certification and valid driver’s license required.
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex logistical problems.
