Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 warehouse staff including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Oversee receiving, inventory control, and shipping operations with 99.5% accuracy
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain 5S standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to reduce handling time by 15%
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Generate daily/weekly reports on KPIs including inventory turnover and order accuracy
- Lead continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent problem-solving skills and conflict resolution experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
