Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor team members on safety procedures and operational standards
- Implement lean practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless transportation scheduling
- Maintain OSHA compliance and foster a culture of workplace safety
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work adjustable hours (early mornings/late evenings as needed)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
