Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance standards and safety protocols
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory and generate operational reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving KPIs (productivity, accuracy, safety)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
