Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and lead a team of warehouse associates on equipment usage and safety protocols
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance
- Generate reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification (provided if not currently certified)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory control procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
