Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Train and manage a team of 10+ warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock records and minimize losses
- Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols across all warehouse functions
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Generate operational reports and performance metrics for management review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Experience with Alaska-specific supply chain challenges preferred
