Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) and valid driver’s license required.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of improving team productivity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and operational reports.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
