Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates with performance metrics
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols and safety procedures
- Optimize inventory control systems to ensure 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
- Analyze operational data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage equipment maintenance and allocate resources effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in warehouse management with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Proven expertise in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Exceptional leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
