Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 8-12 team members on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes using provided forklifts, scanners, and inventory systems
- Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless transportation of goods
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with equipment operation background
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and provided scanning systems
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification required (training available if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
