Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15-20 warehouse associates through performance coaching and goal setting
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols, conducting regular safety audits and training
- Optimize warehouse processes using WMS systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with transportation and procurement teams to ensure seamless supply chain coordination
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution environments
- Proven leadership skills with demonstrated team development success
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making skills
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse automation systems
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
