Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on safety procedures and efficiency standards
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain accuracy and minimize losses
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain team productivity metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification required
