Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and mentor team of 10-15 warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety training sessions
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and carrier relationships
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environment
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational KPIs
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret inventory and performance data
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
