Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and fulfillment with 99.5% accuracy
- Lead and mentor 15+ team members through performance reviews, training, and conflict resolution
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain zero-accident culture through rigorous inspections
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (Oracle/JDA experience preferred)
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze KPIs (cycle time, error rates) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage facility maintenance and equipment scheduling (forklifts, conveyor systems)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years warehouse leadership experience with high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30 certification and forlift operation credentials mandatory
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Proven ability to manage 20+ staff in union/non-union environments
- Data-driven decision making with experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills for inventory discrepancies and operational bottlenecks
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
