Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates with performance reviews and coaching
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all workflows
- Optimize space utilization and implement process improvements for efficiency gains
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking and reporting accuracy
- Conduct regular cycle counts and manage inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
