Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to streamline workflows and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Prepare daily reports regarding productivity, inventory status, and team performance metrics.
- Handle escalated issues and customer inquiries regarding orders with professionalism and speed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and computer applications.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
