Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 10+ warehouse staff through performance management and training
- Implement safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free operations
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless inbound/outbound logistics
- Conduct regular audits and generate performance reports for continuous improvement
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and forklift operator certifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervision experience in cold-chain or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license required
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
