Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 20+ warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement lean principles and process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate operational reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution or fulfillment centers
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Proven ability to lead teams in a unionized environment preferred
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
