Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor team of 20+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment through regular safety audits
- Manage inventory control systems (WMS) and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- Proven track record of leading teams of 15+ associates
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain/Operations or equivalent experience
