Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of temperature-controlled products
- Manage 10+ staff members through scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with FDA cold chain regulations
- Optimize inventory control using WMS systems to achieve 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling and load planning
- Conduct weekly safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare operational reports for executive leadership team
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in cold chain or temperature-controlled environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and HACCP training required
- Proficient in WMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder preferred)
- Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
