Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with logistics, transportation, and purchasing teams
- Analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement in productivity and accuracy
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' warehouse supervision experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Proficiency with WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and warehouse automation systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and process optimization
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development success
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a temperature-controlled environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
