Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse associates
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely deliveries
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address performance gaps
- Generate reports on productivity, safety, and inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in WMS software and inventory management systems
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with JIT inventory methods a plus
