Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, scheduling assignments and ensuring task completion
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily safety inspections
- Manage inventory control systems and cycle count accuracy
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling workflows
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
- Generate performance reports and implement improvement strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in logistics/supply chain
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including nights/weekends as needed)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
